WHY PIPPIN'S ROOST DOES NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS
Dear Customers and Friends,
PIPPIN'S ROOST is a very young, very tiny company, and although we've been in business for almost two years, the credit card companies require almost 10% of each sale due to fixed costs such as the credit card machine and monthly fees. If we take credit cards, this means we'd have to increase our prices by 10%, something we'd really rather not do. Additionally, we'd have to limit credit card purchases to orders of over $50, and to be truthful, most of our customers don't buy that much at one time! HOWEVER! We have decided to accept credit card purchases through the Internet service PayPal. We chose this service because of its record or reliability, safety and non-spam policies. If you would like to purchase products from Pippin's Roost using credit cards, please go to www.paypal.com and follow their instructions. So please accept our apologies for any inconvenience, and we will continue to honor COD deliveries, personal checks, cashier's checks and money orders. Please don't send cash through the mail!

PIPPIN'S ROOST makes every attempt to send merchandise in the least expensive way, but heavy or oversized items such as manzanita branches, food or incubators may incur added postage. If the additional postage is more than $5.00 you will be contacted before shipping to make arrangements for payment.
